Good for families

Another lovely site in an great location.

We stayed for four nights in May for a long weekend. As always friendly welcome from the wardens who were working hard throughout the duration of our stay. It’s a lovely site with both grass and hard standing pitches, although some of the hard standing ones look a little tired and in need of some tlc. Great location on the fringe of the magnificent Blenheim estate, the historic village of Bladon, and the quintessential picturesque town of Woodstock with its array of lovely pubs, restaurants, antique and craft shops help explain why this is such a popular site. It’s a comfortable 20 to 25 minute walk into Woodstock and Blenheim Palace. .Toilets and showers as always immaculately clean - credit to the wardens who always had a smile on their faces. Showers good but not up to usual CAMC standards and in need of refurbishment. Water pressure low, and temporary shower heads in place. However it has already been said in previous reviews there is some concern as to how long the lease for this site will be in place hence maybe the reason for lack of investment. Come on CAMC get this sorted with the Duke of Marlborough as you cannot afford to loose this wonderful site, thereby allowing you to get on and implement the necessary improvements. We shall be back.
