I picked this site as we wanted somewhere quiet and peaceful, it didn't disapoint. I had read there was a lovely walk to Bolton Abbey but hadn't realised how close we were to it. What a wonderful walk it was even in the gentle rain. The dog loved it every morning exploring the Strid. The site was spotless and very well maintained and cared for. Even to the point all the beech nuts were blown off the main drive through to keep the road clear. The added bonus of having a tea room on your doorstep was a treat. In all the site, surrounding area was fantastic. The wardens were very helpful and knowledgeable of great places to visit with the dog. Thank you for a wonderful restful stay it was just what I needed. Thank you 😊
