First time that we have visited this site and won’t be in a rush to go back I’m afraid. Found Yvonne quite abrupt and rude and check in was more like her just setting the rules so not the most friendly welcome compared to other sites we have visited. Definitely not family friendly and dog walk is about 2 minutes long. Went to the cafe at the entrance to the site to be welcomed with the fact that there was no chef so could only serve us cake or sausage rolls (at 9:15am). Abbey tea room however was lovely and would definitely recommend. No choice of pitch even though there were some empty ones! Seems like they want all the children in the lower part of the site so they are ‘out of the way’
