Our first time to this site. No toilet block but hey why do manufacturers fit them in vans if not for such occasions. Best wardens we've ever come across running a very well stocked little shop too. Bus stop just outside the main gate but limited frequency, however, it's all about walking. Great walk around the lake into Keswick and equally nice the opposite direction towards Rothswaite. Most hotels in the area accept dogs in the common areas, the closest being the Lodore accessible via the site's rear pedestrian gate and over the lake bridge, probably about half a mile.
