A gem of a site embedded in Lake District

Drive into this site is around Lake Derwent and it’s as you would imagine the Lakes to be, beautiful mountains surrounding a lake and small pockets of civilisation. This site is in amongst the trees and woodland that sit at the end of the Lake. Facilities were closed due to the pandemic but having said that the wardens were available & reception had a shop advertising bread milk and bacon eggs sausage which seemed a great idea. We only had 1 night and we would have preferred to stay longer but the photos & memories of the scenery will last longer. Our pitch had EHU. Water was available near by, as was bins, chemical waste etc. Site clean and tidy. We even had 4G and TV signal which surprised me. Great area for walkers.
