Peaceful Borrowdale
Peaceful site in the shadow of Cat Bells, plenty of opportunities to walk from the site deep into the Lakeland countryside.
Access road is tight with parking along the road through the village despite yellow lines.
Reduced facilities could be an issue for families but with most vans coming with good loos and showers this shouldn't put anyone off, there is just so much to do.
Friendly and helpful wardens to greet travellers is a bonus
