A beautiful site in the heart of Borrowdale. Good sized pitches in shady woodland. The site is well maintained and the staff are friendly and helpful. Good access to Derwent Water and Catbells. Excellent walking all around. Reasonable bus service from the gate. Launch jetty about 15 mins walk from the site. A good base for walking in Borrowdale.
