Superb, peaceful, out of the bustle location
Don't let the narrow route into the site put you off. A later arrival time and early departure easily overcomes!
A very peaceful, wooded site in a quiet location next to the lake ( but no lake views). Two minutes walk through a side gate and you are on the lake side and onto the circular Derwent Water footpath.
Grange is a lovely small village with two very good cafes.
A site that no facilities or playground enhances rather than detracts. 5 stars all round!
