Noisy site.

Stayed at Brecon Beacons site for October half term, booked fully serviced pitches, arrived just after site opening time for access and were advised of 3 supposedly vacant pitches together as we were travelling with 2 units. Arrived at pitches to find all 3 taken. Followed map to other pitches to find all were by the 2 very noisy roads. No option but to pick 2 together, thought the trees all around site may subdue noise, big mistake. Noise was virtually continuous, with now the addition of all sorts of leaves, seeds and cones dropping off trees on to caravan roof. Unlike all other sites we have been to all the rubbish/recycling bins were by the 1 toilet block that was open, site shop was opening reduced hours/days due to staff shortages and stock had been let run down as closing at end of the week. Site facilities were clean and COVID measures in place though not everyone observing them. Lessons learnt don’t pick pitches near trees, don’t believe arrival times. Have been disappointed with the quality of club sites this year, premium prices for poor to average pitches. Even split this year with half sites visited disappointing.

I notice your previous reviews of club sites always seem to be negative , perhaps you expect to much
