Needs much improvement

This is the most expensive club site we’ve ever stayed on and the scenery was lovely but this site will need a lot of work to upgrade to the standard of club sites. The wardens were helpful but were unable to help with fundamental problems. The entrance/exit to the site is inadequate and there is no security barrier. The pitch we were on was still extremely uneven although we were on levelling ramps. We had to be moved from the first pitch we were allocated as the door to the motorhome was obstructed by a low level wooden wall between the pitches. There is only 1 chemical waste point on the site and it was a long way from our pitch which is unacceptable. The electricity is 10amps which is not ideal on a fully serviced pitch. The walks and views were lovely and the staff tried to be helpful but we will not return to this site unless there is an improvement. It was a shame because the surrounding views from our pitch on the perimeter of the site were amazing and you could see that the wardens worked hard to keep the site looking lovely. Incidentally we saw a caravan opposite us struggle to level much like we did and did not quite manage it. I have never submitted a poor review for a club site which are usually of a very good standard but I honestly feel that £32.30 per night is unacceptable given the present standard.
