Good for families

Just the site!

We decided to stay on this site as it was on our route whilst touring in the Highlands. Over and above the beautiful location of the sight we were pleased, as dog owners, by the very clear guidelines on dog management insisted on by the wardens (who are dog owners of the delightful Archie themselves). We always keep our two Border Terriers on lead on site and were therefore somewhat astounded to find them lured out of our van (we were on pitch 22 on 18th / 19th June) by the non dog-owning couple on the pitch next to ours, by offering them dog treats! We were even more astounded to find that they had subsequently complained about dogs being tolerated off lead on the site by the wardens. This is unfair and left us feeling that they were nothing more than busy bodies who were attempting to undermine the warden's excellent management of the site.
