A truly beautiful site in a wonderful location. However, although we arrived at 2 o'clock and there were still lots of pitches available, we were assigned to pitch 3. Don't accept it! It is quite the worst pitch on the site and although we were blessed with glorious sunshine, NOT on pitch 3; very near the entrance under a tree: they must have seen us coming as the warden knew that nobody would choose that pitch and as they were expecting to be full, they had to cajole some innocent looking person to accept pitch 3. DON'T!
