Just returned from Bunree on 10th April having spent 4 nights there. Our grateful thanks to Anorra, one of the wardens who welcomed us in at 19.15 in the evening as I had an important Hospital appt which prevented me from getting there any earlier, so this gave us a full day the next day. Our highlight was a visit to the Island of Mull travelling via the Corran Ferry and then to the Lochaline - Fishnish Ferry. This gave us time to tour the Island with a short visit to Tobermory as well. Easily achieved from Bunree. Obviously an early start gives you more time on Mull. ( We were a bit late leaving) Other comment regarding local facilities already been made. Good area for photography with many excellent locations within easy reach. Very clean toilet block and site. Thanks again to the Wardens. Hopefully will visit again soon.
