A March Break

This is really an excellent site. Great welcome from the wardens. We had booked a serviced pitch. These pitches are huge, although the one we had required every centimetre of the 25 metre electricity cable and tv aerial lead to reach the bollard. Would recommend the FiveAlls at Filkins, which is not far from the site and signed off the main Burford/ Lechlade Road. The service and food were exceptional. There are two good garden centres nearby. The one in Burford is upmarket and carries an interesting range of products. The other one is just outside Lechlade and there are a number of retail units within this garden centre. Both are worth a visit, although the Lechlade one does have lower priced goods. The site has a very good clean and warm toilet block and fully stocked information centre. Will be back.

Lovely site but remote position

As a motorhomer we always try to get sites with easy access to pubs, shops etc by public transport. But in the Cotswolds such sites aren't always available or full, like Moreton in the Marsh. The nearest pub (Rose and Crown)is a good two miles walk and there isn't anywhere to park a motorhome. No bus service either. The pub is very nice and worth a visit. We however opted to go into Burford in the evening as you can park in the coach car park after 6.00pm. It's on the left as you down the hill. We found a pub in the high street called The Cotswold Arms that served fine food, great beer and all with excellent service but most importantly as reasonable unpretentious prices! It would be good for motorhomers to share these tips on a forum vis the CC? A great quiet site and great for a visit to the Wildlife Park next door. Toilets were impeccably clean, although hand dryers in gents and disabled weren't working. It was the first day of opening of the new season so may be a reason?

Cleanest toilet block Ive seen

This is a lovely Park.  If I could give 6 ticks for Facilities and cleanliness I would. The site is nice and large with well spaced out pitches.  A good play area for the kids and I would say the best shower and toilet block I have ever seen.  We now grade other sites on these toilets.  The Safari Park is walkable from the park and the surrounding villages are stunning.  Its were posh people live....
