Compact and well tended site
Compact and tidy site, well cared for by the attentive wardens. Free fresh herb garden is a nice touch. No play area on site, but play areas in the adjacent country park. East Lancs Railway runs alongside the site, so great for the transporters of all ages. Some noise from the pub by the entrance on the first night when they had live music, but finished st a reasonable time so not a problem really.
