This is my third visit to the site, mainly due to its proximity to the East Lancs. Railway - there is a small halt about 5 minutes walk from the site! Another lovely visit made especially pleasant by the warm welcome and friendliness of all of the staff who were extremely helpful and a credit to the Club. Due to heavy traffic and possible delays, I called ahead and warden explained that it wouldn't be a problem as long as no later than 2000 (it wasn't!), They also warned that if really late, not to park up in the Country Park car park overnight as may get clamped by local council parking officers!
