Interesting location
We stopped off at Bury for 2 nights on our way to the Lake District. The site is well kept, facilities very clean and wardens welcoming. Very well stocked shop. The country park is quite extensive, so don't judge the environs by the grass area immediately adjacent to the site. We took some interesting walks with our dog enjoying the industrial history of the site. Only drawback for us as fairly novice caravanners was the towing through centre of Bury!
