I will start off by saying under no circumstances is my review reflective of the cleanliness or facilities of this caravan park. Everything in that respect was perfect. I am however very disappointed with the courtesy we were shown. On arrival we were aghast to drive up and see a gigantic funfair pitched on the very next field. I asked at reception about this to be told they also were upset about it but it would shut down at 10pm. In the next breath the warden told me it had been there since Tues (our arrival day was Friday). So was a little took aback that we hadn't been pre-warned and given the option to decide to cancel or book elsewhere. After 2 nights of the five same songs blaring out at full blast until 10pm, air horns blowing and screaming so loud you couldn't do anything else such as listen to the radio or watch TV, we were fuming to say the least. I complained to the caravan club who just told me that they had expressed my views to the council that organised the funfair but seeing as it was out of the wardens control they would not see fit to compensate us the money or offer us another weekend there. I did say I knew it was out of there control but seeing as they had known it would be there since Tuesday we should have been phoned and told. So on the basis of that treatment I will not going here again and I will not be renewing my caravan club membership in the new year.
