Having stayed a number of times at this very peaceful site due to the location of our daughter and grandchildren in Bury, I felt that I ought to provide some feedback as to our experience. We started caravanning in October 2014, having bought a reasonably priced 1999 Bailey Pageant Auvergne. Burrs Country Park was the first place we visited. We enjoyed our experience with caravanning so much, we upgraded to a 2013 Valencia in August this year and have been back to Burrs on several occasions. The welcome from the stewards, the cleanliness of the site and facilities are a credit to the caravan club. There are scenic walks around the area and the Bury shops and market only a mile away. The Brown Cow pub is approximately 100 metres from the site and has a good selection of ales and reasonably priced food.
