Lovely week at Buxton CMAC site. We only live just over an hour away and this was our first visit! Well laid out site with lots of little cul de sacs and bays to choose from, we were on the serviced section over the little bridge, nice and quiet, no passing traffic. Staff as usual pleasant and friendly, big shower block, all open now and very clean. Given lots of info when checking in, site info, local area and walks. Well stocked shop, chip van on Saturday and Curry on Thursday. We visited Buxton, Bakewell, Ashbourne, Castleton and surroundings. The country park next door is excellent for dog walking, there is a path to walk down through the woods to Buxton. We will certainly be back
