This is a lovely peaceful site. The Phone signal on our pitched work most of the time, but we couldn't get wifi. You can walk into Buxton which takes about 15/20 minutes and it's and enjoyable walk through the woods. We spent most of time on the Monsal trail which was about 30/40 drive from the site this is an ideal place for walking and cycling without getting involved with traffic. We also went to Eyam the plague village, the musem was interesting but its small so big crowds do spoil it a little. There also free parking behind the main pay carpark. All in all a very good weekend and will visit this site again.
