Beautiful Buxton

Lovely site situated in the quarry with great views and walks from the site. We didn't have great weather but managed to do some walks in the country park and climbed Soloman's Temple from which there were great views and walked into Buxton. Also visited NT Lyme Hall which was a good day out. Buxton is a pretty town with lots of amenities and parks. Sampled the fish and chips from the visiting van which were nice. Our son was able to camp here which was great to be able to meet up and pitch nearby. Can't say we noticed that the site was neglected! Our son was on a grass camping pitch and the grass was cut short enough for them to camp. Nothing worse than being away and listening to the lawn mower every day and also it's good for the wildlife too when the grass is that bit longer.
