Beautiful High Peak

We have just returned home after 10 nights at the Buxton Club site. The site is well kept and relatively quiet and peaceful although being on the flight path to Manchester Airport does result in some, sometimes loud, aircraft noise day and night including in the early hours! Not the best spot for light sleepers. It's a good base from which to explore the Peak District and we were also able to sneak over the West Yorks. border to Holmfirth and Last of the Summer Wine country. Plenty of places to visit and beautiful scenery to behold.
