This has always been a great site and we have been many times. It is central to the peak district with access to fantastic walking. One special thing we love about the site is that it is open and unregimented with plenty of grassed areas. Things are changing though! We noticed many hard standing pitches now have grass and weeds growing on them. The herb beds are full of weeds and not maintained. The chemical emptying shoots are not cleaned daily. From 10th July the waste bins are being removed. If your pitch is at the far end of the site that means a half mile round trip to take your recycling and rubbish to the main gate. This new policy is not in line with the clubs access statement for the site and not heedful of the disability discrimination act.

I agree with with the disposing of rubbish. Being an injured veteran(50) walking can at times be painful. I don’t need a disabled pitch nor would it be fair to ask for one just too take rubbish to the bin.

my pitch location was at the bottom of this site, right next too where the bins would have been located, this left my wife to walk to the entrance to where the bins are now located.

I feel this reflects badly on me has an individual when other guests can see my wife walking back and forth. Because yea people can be judgmental.
