Great little site

Small but beautiful. Great pitch sizes. Wardens keep the place immaculate, and even have flowers at the water point. Wardens even ask people to move their vans if they are not parked correctly, which doesn't often happen on other sites. This is our first visit but we will definitely be back, the access is great just off the motorway, but no noise from it.

Worth another visit to this area

Used this site as a call-in on our way back from a South Devon trip. Site was well kept, Wardens very friendly and welcoming. 15 min walk into Wellington, worth a stroll and then 10 min walk to the Skylark pub for evening meal, great deal 2 meals for the price of 1. But will use again as a base for exploring the area, bus stop close to the site as well.

Home from home

As always site well kept, flowers beautiful. Anne & Terry so happy , friendly wardens , busy people cutting hedges and painting. We walked into Wellington took us 15- 20 minutes, there is a bus every 20 minutes in both directions , Taunton  is 6 miles which is the county town , or  a trip to Bristol for big shoppers . Many members use cadeside  as a one night stopover on their way to Cornwall or back up north as it is 2/3 miles from M5. But Somerset has a lot to offer from the coast to the moors and pretty villages, and cream teas ??.  Give it a visit.  Xx from Baily & Molly ?? We love your dog walk.

Lovely site

We had a great stay here. Small and well kept by the friendly wardens. Would have liked to stay longer. Kept entertained by the birds which are encouraged to visit the site. Will definitely be back again.

Great stop over for Devon & Cornwall

This site is small and cosy, great access, well kept and really friendly wardens that do a superb job. There is a great area that circles the site for the pooch in the family to stretch their travelled paws and go toilet. No toilet block however that never bothers us, we chose this site for a comfort break travelling to Devon and will definitely use again next time we are down.

A small but very pleasant site

We stay at this site generally twice a year for 8-10 nights each as we have family living nearby.    We always enjoy our stays here.    Wardens are extremely pleasant and helpful and the site is always spic and span!      The surrounding area is very nice and it is nice to be able to visit the Quantocks and on to the coast at Minehead.   Spent 9 nights here in June and hope fully will be back again before Autumn.    Thank you.

Stopover Point

A somewhat idiosyncratic site. The absence of a toilet block may put off some and the dearth of places of interest in the locality does not really make it a suitable base. Its redeeming feature is its proximity and access to the M5, making it a prime stopover location for those travelling between the west country and the Midlands/North. Being there for five nights, we saw a steady stream of overnighters. A bonus was the ability to exchange that rare commodity, a Calorlite cylinder. Window shoppers will enjoy the Motorhome emporium just down the road.

Lovely site lovely welcome

Stayed for 2 nights visiting family, Arrived to a welcoming , smiling warden , which was so nice. Site kept to perfection , flowers in tubs, hanging baskets, a blaze of colour, grass like a snooker table. Thankyou you are lovely wardens ,Ann & Terry. Lots to visit , went Porlock weir had lunch in village, Blue Anchor bay all very pretty, quaint. Exmoor scenery and a must is the west Somerset steam railway. The town of Wellington is a 15 min walk or bus outside side it's a ride of 2 bus stops to the local shops an asda  and waitrose.

A great site.

We love this site and always visit in January for 14 nights. This year we also stayed 14 nights in April and May.Despite it being mainly a storage site it is a quiet and relaxing site. Plenty of wild life on site,at the moment a resident fox, lots of birds,we were fortunate to see a woodpecker visiting the bird feeder each day. Easy site to access as it is very close to the motorway. Plenty of shopping as the site is on the edge of Wellington and the scenery is rather pleasant. Had a very nice walk to the Wellington Monument, great views. This is how sites should be, why do we require sites to have toilets and showers. We just want a hardstanding and electric hook-up,access to water and waste. Makes for a much cheaper site.

What a nice site!

We booked this site as a stopover on our way to Cornwall. We found the site without any difficulty & received a warm & efficient welcome from the very pleasant & friendly Warden, although it was late in the day. The site is small but beautifully kept & is a credit to the Warden. Although there are no toilets/showers on site, we would not hesitate to visit again for a longer stay so that we could explore this part of Somerset. Wellington looked to be a pleasant town as we drove through on our way the next morning. We do not usually stay on sites without facilities (I like the comforts of life) but this was so pretty & pleasant that we would not hesitate to recommend this site. Our dog was made most welcome also.
