EXCELLENT WARDENS
We are local to Cadeside and use the storage compound for our motorhome so visit on a regular basis and we have also used the site a couple of times to try out a new van and awning. The whole area is immaculately kept with lovely flower displays in the summer. The wardens, Anne and Terry, always give us a warm, friendly welcome and are always on hand with help and advice. On one occasion we were going to be late because of a breakdown, however they said not to worry and to just get there when we could. Nothing is too much trouble for them despite working long hours, especially in the summer months. Thank you Anne & Terry for all your hard work.

Almost perfect for us
We have stayed on this small, quiet and friendly site many times. Both the full time and reserve wardens are friendly, accommodating, and will assist with helpful advice and or knowing where to go with any of the numerous problems faced by travelling with a Caravan or Motorhome. Our only complaint considering the facilities available is the recent price increase, other sites we have visited have more facilities for less money. The site is clean and well manicured and all of the pitches have sufficient space for unit, awning and car. Thank you.
Unwelcoming very rude warden
Arrived at this site slightly later than 8pm on 25/05/2016 but called ahead to let the wardens know we had hit traffic. The man I spoke to on the phone was quite abrupt, and basically gave me a telling off, but agreed that we could still come as we knew the site, and to drive on and see them in the morning. We arrived, pulled in and I got out of my motorhome with my little well behaved dog, on a lead, and walked over to the grassed area. The warden came storming over to me shouting excuse me, excuse me, the dog walk is over there, I thanked him, then he continued to shout rudely, the walk is not on the site, and he should be on a lead. I said he is on a lead, he shouted at me that he wasn't when he got here, ( he was ) and he stormed off whilst I was talking to him. I was absolutely gob smacked. We pay to come here and we are welcomed this way. An absolute disgrace and if we had had somewhere else to stay we would have left. This is not what we expect from the caravan club.Â

peace and tranquility
First time to this site after passing it so many times.immac clean site. although only a small cc site the pitches where very nicley sized and level.we have a large outfit and there was loads of room.tv rec good.entrance large and clear.dog walk on site.and altho only temp wardens at time of stay they where very welcoming and helpful..we liked it so much i have just booked a week in july.little gem.

Small & Friendly
Exactly what we like, small, friendly, peace & quiet, but close to everything, either on foot, or by car. Good bus service too.

Johns review
The site is small, clean and well looked after (typical CC site) the lack of facilities makes it good for couples but probably not such a preference for a family. It is close to the road and railway but not as noisy and some reviews claim. The local shops are a short walk away, and many attractions in easy reach. This is a good staging point for either heading further north or south with the M5 just a short distance awy.
Convenient location
Having lived in the area, we used this site when we sold our house in Oct 2014, prior to my retirement. Although there are not many pitches on this site, there are large hardstandings available, suitable for caravans and motor homes. The wardens are very friendly and helpful and the site is within walking distance of the town, which has plenty of shops to explore, together with many places of interest nearby.
The site is not particularaly scenic, since it is mainly a large storage depot, but it is quiet and there are some trees and birds flock to the feeders. There are no facilities for children, but the motorway is nearby for easy access on route to the West Country.
Trees
Called in to Cadeside today to check on our caravan in storage, had a really nice surprise ! The trees in the middle of the site have been cut-back, this will make it so much nicer as the trees had got out of control. Well done, lets hope more trees are 'brought under control' at Club Sites.
A great site,
Have just returned from another great stay at Cadeside. A good site for the winter months in a motorhome. Plenty of places to visit on the bus,the service in this area is amazing and each year we find more places to visit by using the bus, this year the bus service has gone even better. Nice clean site and great wardens. No facilities,but this is what we like,we only require electric hook up hardstanding,rubbish andwaste disposal, Why pay extra when you already have these facilities in your unit. Wish there were more sites like this. It make for a more affordable holiday.
