Nice site but few issues!

Just returned from 6 night stay at this site. Good location and overall quite a pleasant site. However, no previous reviews seem to have mentioned a few issues. First, a lot of the pitches are quite badly sloping. Second, the Motorhome service point is in an awful position. Pitch number 39 is frankly a dangerous place to be if you have anything other than a very short caravan or Motorhome. Directly opposite is the motorhome service point which is on an uphill slope and is difficult for units to either reverse in or go in forwards. A number of Motorhomers seem to miss the drain with their waste which means it runs directly onto pitch 39. Not good and some motorhomers are to blame. However the main issue is the access so that requires attention. When reversing off the area, any unit on pitch 39 is in dire danger of being hit. Also when motorhomes decide to reverse onto this area pitch 40 ( which we were on) is also quite a dangerous place to be, with units encroaching onto this pitch in order to get into position. Thirdly, we noted a number of seasonal caravans, most of which seemed to be empty during our stay. Inevitably they have the best pitches thus restricting choice for others. I don’t think this is very good even though I’m sure the seasonal pitches are being paid for even when empty. Normal tourers should not have restricted choice. Finally, we noted a few pitches, when empty, suddenly had cones at the front of them, thus not allowing these pitches to be used by others. Pitch 1 was a notable example during our stay. Why that is I don’t know but this is not acceptable in my book.
