This site is a little gem, it's proximity to Cambridge makes it ideal for a winter visit, when you need more indoor pursuits to visit and its closeness to public transport is excellent. As two oldies we used the park and ride just down the lane, so parked for £1 and then the bus for free. The facilities were immaculate as expected and nice and warm. useful when some of the outside taps froze on a couple of mornings! It says in the blurb TV reception poor, this was not our experience as we got a good signal even though we were in the deepest part of the quarry. One to return too and only 2.5hrs from home
