Small but perfectly formed

We stayed at Camelford for just one night while driving back up to Surrey but would have loved to have stayed longer. Beautiful views and very peaceful. We arrived during a bad storm and had been battered by gales along the way, where our caravan had sustained some damage. The wardens, Kath and Denise were great and went out of their way to help us sort out a temporary fix on the van before we moved on the next day. Once the winds had calmed down we enjoyed the stunning scenery and short walk to a nearby supermarket to get supplies. We were lucky enough to have one of the hardstanding pitches which was great considering the weather but there were plenty of grass pitches too, my preferred pitch if it's dry. Showers were spotless and well equipped. Ideal location for a short stopover, just off the A39 but not just as a transit point but as a destination too.
