I have been to Carsington five times and it has become our go to site for weekend breaks The woodland setting is lovely and depending on the pitch you get views over Carsinton Water or surrounding countryside. There are plenty of places nearby to visit and you can be involved in activities as active or relaxing as you wish. The café/restaurant at Carsington Water gives you a great view as well as good food. The facilities on site are excellent. The fish and chips on Friday nights are worth queuing for! I will be returning in a couple of weeks.
