We need to start by saying a huge THANK YOU to Mark the warden and his wife. We stayed at Carsington Friday to Sunday and on arrival to our pitch at around 5.30pm the caravan wouldn't unhitch, disaster! I went to ask the wardens for help and Mark came along to investigate. Yep, the caravan was definitely well and truly stuck onto the car! Mark rang an engineer for advice and we tried tirelessly to unhitch but it wasn't budging. Mark was so helpful and understanding, he allowed us to pitch up across a pitch and a parking space still attached over night with an action plan for the morning. Sure enough true to his word Mark was there in the morning for round two. Marks wife also came to check the kids were ok and offered them a couple of places they could wait in the warm while we tried to unhitch. Finally, after nearly two hours, success!! An event that could have easily ruined our weekend turned it into a very memorable one. It was a real team effort but we couldn't have done it without Mark. Every site needs a Mark! Thank you.
