We stayed from 19th to 24th January. The site is lovely and peaceful in a lovely setting in the heart of the Peak District. We are caravan newbies after selling our motorhome and stayed here because it's not far from our home in Yorkshire. As soon as we got onto the pitch, the assistant warden stopped to say hello. We told him this was our maiden voyage with a caravan and he was very helpful and talked us through things. It snowed heavy the first night and we awoke to about 5inch of it, which made the site and the surrounding area very beautiful. We enjoyed our stay that much that we asked to stay on for an extra night. The staff were very accomodating.We would highly recommend the site for cleanliness too. Overall a wonderful stay.
