2 brilliant stays at Castleton recently. A bright and welcoming flower display as you draw up to the reception to be greeted by a smiling warden.A Well run and a friendly site looked after by the hard working wardens for whom nothing was to much trouble. Good facilities in a lovely area. Great walks nearby from short strolls to long hikes. 7 pubs and 2 restaurants in the village, for those who require them. Top of the lot was the Ye Olde Nags Head for great food and service. Didn’t get to sample the Italian Restaurant, something for next time. A busy, well stocked Spar and Watsons Farm shop in Hope to provide you with all the necessities and more. Cafe Adventurer there to for lovely light meals and drinks. We would like to have tried the Curry Cabin in the village too. Back again next year.
