Great site in a Great position

Our second visit this year and another enjoyable one again. Lots of vans but a spacious well maintained site managed by a large but friendly team. We chose a damp day to take the road walk along the coast into Scarborough. A coffee and a sugary donut hit at the Beachcomber on arrival at the South Beach soon boosted our energy levels. Sunshine and a cloudless sky greeted us on a visit to the lovely beach and gardens at Filey. Another sunny day saw us at the lovely, spacious (depending on the tide) beach at Cayton Bay a short walk from the site. A visit to the Towbar on the stroll back saved cooking that night. For a Special Treat or occasion then the Farrier in the village the place to go but you will need to book. The site is nicely positioned close to the A165 so soon onto the road network to tour the area. A trip to Pickering and the NY Moors not far. Further afield a coast run to Whitby past Robin Hoods Bay. A trip to York for some retail therapy or history. A bonus is the bus stop just outside the site for Scarborough and Bridlington via Filey.
