As with all CMC sites you do get a certain standard so the site was well equipped and OK for a weekend visit - particularly this time of the year. That said it would be a good base to explore the lovely area as Wells, Wookey Hole, Ebbor Gorge, Cheddar Weston-Super-Mare etc.etc. etc are within easy reach. The main thing is THE POST CODE. Ignore it otherwise you'll end up in a dead end in a housing estate. We did laugh about it and the wardens were helpful when we gave up and admitted we were lost! All in all a nice site and a pleasant stay. One final thing.......don't stay under the trees as the bird poo is a NIGHTMARE to clean off the car etc.
