Just back from a week at Cheddar (2nd visit) - We chose the site as its only 1hr 20 mins from home and didnt want to go too far. The site is very well situated on the outskirts of the small town which is a short walk away, avoiding the roads. Though quite busy over the weekend it was quiet and peaceful, and extremely well kept, a credit to the helpful friendly wardens ! The shower/toilet block etc were spotless, again, thanks to the efforts of those wardens ! Our lively dog thoroughly enjoyed his stay - great dog walking just outside the site entrance, along the riverside - he swam every day ! All in all an excellent break - we will be back !!
