Good stay in Cheddar

Stayed for two nights and thoroughly enjoyed it. Would echo some of the points made below: shower cubicles are small, but good hot water and everything very clean. Great walk down the river bank with the dogs. We too used the footpath suggested and would recommend it. Also had warm welcome at the Bath Arms. On our full day there we decided to pay out for the Senior Citizen tickets (Gough's Cave and coffees and cake at Costa's included) plus the tour bus. Actually we thought it was well worth it to see the Gorge - and the wild goats - and, after having our coffee, we spent  a long time going through the Cave with the dogs and listening to the audio tour. We thought the Cave very impressive. The full price tickets included stuff we would not have had time to do or even wanted to see, so this ticket worked for us - thanks to the wardens for putting a notice up about it, we might not have bothered to ask otherwise.
