Good for families

Great situation, good for touring

People will undoubtedly enjoy the situation on the edge of the village of Cheddar and close to the start of the gorge. For walking and sightseeing it's a great area. The site itself is functional rather than scenic. It has few features, with neither a children's playground nor a dog walk, although if you turn left along the lane by the stream you come to a large field where dogs can play. Staff are pleasant enough. Friday and Saturday nights can be very noisy from the adjacent football club. A large Sainsbury's is just a short walk up the road and Tesco Express a little further.

We were there in early December and really enjoyed the site as for not a scenic site look towards the north and lovely views of the Mendips perhaps we maybe bias as we used to live in Somerset for 25 years, we will definitely go back again for a longer stay.
