Another great stay

Our second visit, and we thoroughly enjoyed again, this is a great location particularly for motorhomers as the town centre is so close by. Just to address the review from the last person about how bad the entrance road is, please do not be put off, all you need to do is drive slowly, we've definitely experienced worse. Considering we've had so much rain recently that probably hasn't helped, the drive is pretty wide so plenty of room for other people to pass. WE are very keen cyclists and again see no problem with a few pot holes you just have to look where you are going. There are many positives about this site which is typical of a MCC site, clean, well maintained, functional, and friendly helpful staff. You know what to expect, all sites in the club are pretty similar. What we love about this site is the beautiful Bathurst Estate parkland which you are free to walk through between 8am and 5pm, 15/20 mins and you're in the town centre and what a pleasant town it is. Plenty of nice places to eat and drink very dog friendly. Then if you need to walk back from town after 5pm the footpath is really wide, also a cycle path and well lit enough to get you back to site easily.

Well Mr. or Ms. LBJEB whoever you might be,

I am surprised you did not also add 007 to the end of that code name.

Why do you not just tell us genuinely who you are because I was not born yesterday? Your 'review' seems to me to be a rather inept attempt to, first of all, displace my own critical review from its prominent position for all members to be aware of then proceed to refute or attempt to diminish the impact of what I had to say about the undoubted, dangerous state of the Cirencester site access road. No member with any sense would try to do this especially when they are paying £52 in annual membership and like us, face the risk of having the tyres of their outfit punctured and damage to suspension components nor would there be a deliberate and specific light touch applied to the very real risk of personal injury to cyclists.

You will have to forgive me but, because of my niggling suspicions, I feel compelled to call you out regarding this matter........ So,  are you really a paid employee/official of the Caravan and Motorhome Club who has been briefed to go incognito and under cover, so to speak, in order to mount a damage limitation exercise on the punters after my own disparaging review had been posted???????????

I am sure that, like me, every member reading this is now waiting anxiously and expectantly for your reply.

Regards,,

Stephen Jacques.

what a load of twaddle! ask long as you take care then there is no problem. I'm sure the club are not responsible for this road because if they were there would not be any problem.

Firstly, as yet I have not visited Cirencester Park.

Secondly, my sign-in name has significance to me, even though it is not my actual name, but that doesn't make my intentions to hide anything, and why should it!

Thirdly, other than being a C&MC member, I have nothing to do with the C&MC, or any affiliated parties.

Why should you suspect someone of devious intent, just because they use a sign-on name that may be relevant to them, but not you, and then be subject to accusations such as yours?

The whole idea of reviews is to give your own opinion of the site, its facilities, and the surroundings, and just because you may not agree with another's post, why do you think that gives you the right to make derogatory remarks against them!

I can assure you that, every sensible member reading this is now quite disturbed and disappointed your inept reply.

I just hope I never have the misfortune to park next to you.
