We spent five days on this site in August 2015. We were lucky in that only one of those days was wet and no midges were experienced. The site is very quiet with only occasional road traffic noise. It is a few minutes drive from Killin where you can get most essential supplies. The scenery in the area is spectacular. Very helpful and friendle wardens. The only slight gripe is that the TV system is not very good. All we got were 9 commercial channels which made us realise just how good the BBC is! If you want all the channels you need a satellite system.
