This is just a lovely site. We cycled at nearby Coed y Brenin cycle trail centre and along the estuary on the Mawddach Trail to Barmouth (beware the bridge is closed till mid-December but the little ferry was prepared to take bikes). The weather was okay to good during our stay so I guess we saw it all at pretty much its best. The facilities are no doubt on the list for updating (they need it!) but they’re all kept spotlessly clean. Big shout out to assistant site manager Mike - what an absolute star: perhaps the most welcoming, friendly, helpful CC person we’ve come across. And we have yet to encounter a grumpy one! Certainly a place I’d very happily revisit.
