We visited this site last weekend for a mini break in our camper van. All wardens were really welcoming and friendly. They really went our of their way to help us when we arrived, as we had a problem with out air bed. The toilet facilities are spotless. In terms of location, we were really pleased. As we are not able to use our camper van when pitched up, we needed to rely on public transport or walk. The bus stop was about 5mins walk from the campsite and had regular busses, which allowed us to explore Porthmadog and Portmeirion. Bus services were dog friendly and there was lots of dog friendly cafes and outdoor pubs in Porthmadog too! Unfortunately we were not able to go into the Portmeirion site- it is NOT dog friendly. We were not made aware of this before hand, so just a heads up for any dog owners. We enjoyed walks directly from the site and a meal in the Bryn Arms- it was delicious! We would defiently return to this site. Thanks for a lovely stay!
