Lots of walks from the site itself down quiet lanes. Recommend a hike up Cwmorthin near Blaenau Ffestiniog and also the walk from the site to the waterfall Rhaeadr Du. Site facilities were excellent - very modern and kept immaculately clean. My only gripe was the dog/bike wash was just a hose with very little power. Took washing of three dogs a very long time! Doubt it would have washed a bike very well either. Could you maybe add a spray attachment to the end of the hose? Wardens were very friendly and always happy to help. The pub across the road, the Bryn Arms, does very nice food. I stayed in the Farm View section during Storm Kathleen and whilst the views of the sheep and lambs was lovely, this spot is very exposed to the wind! Just a heads up if you don’t like to be blown around a lot Will definitely be returning as a great base for all Snowdonia based activities
