A really nice site despite the weather. Nice level pitch and the heavy rain ran off well. Staff were so welcoming when we arrived after a stressful journey (cracked windscreen due to a stone from a lorry). The facilities are new and spotless with great hot showers and just a really nice place to be. Some nice views from the site too. Follow the directions and avoid the route through the hills as it is tight in places for towing. Take care on arrival not to turn left into the street with the same name as the site or to turn right into the large pub car park but continue on till the site entrance on the left after the pub (just by the National speed limit sign). For us the journey was a little too far to return but if this was closer to us we would be back regularly as it’s a nice place with the best wardens and staff.
