As a rule we tend not to holiday in the school hoildays. We arrived at Coniston on a Monday it was busy but orderly. The staff are a credit to the club and even when busy allways friendly and helpful. We stayed for seven nights and the weather was good given that the lake district has one of the highest rainfalls in the UK. If you like walking, bikes sailing or just an outdoors type this site is for you. well placed for the lakes. If you get chance have a walk to the Ship Inn about 20 mins walk. The food is good and the staff very helpful. We will be going back again.
