Fantastic Location
First time visit but hopefully not the last. The site is located in a beautiful spot in woods by Lake Coniston and is ideal for walking. I was there with my dog Ellie and walked from the caravan to the top of Coniston Old Man with its amazing views. It's also within an easy car ride to the Langdale Pikes where we managed to get up Harrison Stickle. Even in the depths of winter this is a great site (with immaculate facilities) so are planning to get back as soon as we can.
