Over zealous wardens

We used to come to this site when our children were small with a caravan, it was our first time back on our own. We like the site and the layout ( it’s not called park coppice for nothing) it’s quite a walk to Coniston ( we knew that) and there are some nice pubs there. Now for the negatives, you cannot check in even 1 minute before 10am and the warden who checked me in took about 25 minutes going through everything, I could not stop her , she was very patronising, she more or less said don’t bother asking any questions as it’s all in the pamphlet. I’ve been a member for over 15 years and I’m not stupid. She made it clear by ringing the 5mph speed limit that was strict. This obviously doesn’t apply to kids on bikes screeching about going faster than that ! On day 2 I got a phone call from a different warden saying I had a double adapter in the electric hook up and I had broken the club rules so I must remove immediately( I was out for the day) they obviously have little knowledge of the workings of Vw campervan as most of it runs off the leisure battery I tried to explain this but he wasn’t having it , I said the other hook up was for cooking outside and the other was for the trickle charge for the battery. These pitches are over £40 per night for a couple now , it’s a shame spoiled by over zealous wardens with absolutely no people skills whatsoever.
