We really enjoyed our recent 3 night stay. There were lots of different areas to choose from to pitch, so didn't feel as regimented as some CAMC sites. We did the 22 mile Lawrence Cycle ride one day which you could start from Moreton and the other day we got the train (just outside the site) to Wool (5 minute journey) and did a 10 mile walk incorporating 'The Lake' which was a superb picnic spot. The Frampton Arms is also just outside the site which we would recommend - they had the best Covid measures in place that we've seen - serving food and drinks properly (i.e. you take the items from the tray, so they don't touch them or come too close to you)
