We stayed here in July for 2 nights and enjoyed it so much we booked again for 3 nights. The wardens are friendly, welcoming and really helpful. As we have a large Motorhome we were shown which pitches would suit. Please read the site description reference composting toilets so you know what to expect. As mentioned yes the showers may be dated and not very powerful but they are immaculate and do the job.plenty of information available in the hut and the shop stocks basics lovely walks in and around the site. Off site go left at the entrance and approx 10 minute walk there's a Co-OP. Go right 5 minute walk to train station and a pub which does excellent meals ( booking recommended) Regular train service. We visited Weymouth Saturday Bournemouth Sunday.. we plan to go back but it maybe next year due to other bookings.. but I'm checking my diary and leave availbility in work..
