Just watching the deer roam the site is great, really peaceful in a nice setting with several glades offering seclusion - definitely not the car park style of site. Composting toilets are fine (they don’t smell). You get the occasional train noise if you chose a pitch on that side of the site. Helpful friendly wardens. Good access to all Dorset has to offer, with Dorchester a few miles away. Trains to Dorchester, Poole & Bournemouth just a short walk away to station. Cycle routes from the site. Definitely will be back.
